| Georgia Gamble - Aged 3
Diagnosed With Juvenile Arthritis
“Georgia was a healthy baby born on 15/12/2002. She was diagnosed with Juvenile Arthritis in August 2004. Over the next 15 months she was given 4 sets of corticoid steroidal joint injections under general anaesthetic along with very high doses of anti-inflammitories, but nothing worked so in November 2005 she started undergoing Chemotherapy to quell her overactive immune system.
Since then she has suffered repeated infections including: - pneumonia, pneumatic chest infections, severe ear infections, bladder infections etc.
Georgia lives on antibiotics as well as anti-inflammitories and drugs to control her pre-ulcerative stomach that has been eaten away by anti-inflammitories.
Her joints have improved but at the cost of her health, her liver is struggling and her adrenal glands no longer function properly.
Whilst still on treatment, Georgia has just undergone rigorous testing, paid for by Bobby's Fund and we are currently finding the right professionals to treat Georgia holistically together with clean water, fresh organic juices pressed at home and a fully intergrated approach.
This would not be possible without the support of the finances at Bobby's Fund .
To them we owe everything.”
